Son of Binyamin Ze’ev and the late Tirtza. Born on the 10th day of Kislev 5,745 (4.12.1984) in Rehovot. Brother of Bat-Sheva, Tova, Yehudit, Shulamit, Yitzhak, and Israel. Raphael was married to Yehudit and the couple had four children: Hedva, Miriam, Hillel and Adin. On January 4th, 2024, he enlisted in the reserves and served in the the Military Rabbinate Corps. Staff Sergeant (res.) Refael Kauders fell in battle on the 28th day of Iyar 5,784 (5.6.2024). He was thirty-nine years old. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Kfar Etzion Cemetery He is survived by his wife, four children, father and six siblings.
