Son of Eleanor and Eyal. Born on the 15th day of of Sivan 5,763 (15.6.2003) in Nitzanei Oz. Brother of Amit and Yonathan. On December 16, 2021, he enlisted in the IDF and served in the Paratroopers Brigade. Captain Ben Zion Falach fell in battle on the 29th day of Elul 5,784 (2.10.2024). He was twenty-one years old. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Nitzanei Oz cemetery. He is survived by his parents and two brothers.

The Story Behind The Sticker:

About five hours before entering Lebanon, Ben wrote a note on his phone that he titled “The True Test.” His family found this powerful text in his notes only after he fell in battle.

Ben was killed while leading his team into a building where Hezbollah terrorists were lying in ambush. Ben led his team with great courage, protecting and shielding his soldiers with his own body, and fell as a hero in battle in Lebanon. The text accurately reflects Ben’s principles, values, and uncompromising character.

Ben concluded the text with a sentence that was later printed on the sticker: “I wish the situation was different, but this is the reality, and to get through tough times you need strong people.” A sentence that shows everyone the commander, fighter, and person this world has lost.
