Son of Sophia and Ivgeni. Born on the 27th day of Av 5,736 (23.8.1976) in Azerbaijan. Brother of Igor. Roman had two daughters: Eden and Adi He immigrated to Israel with his brother in 1993. In 1993, he enlisted in the Israel Police and served in the Israel Border Police. Sergeant Major Roman Gendel fell in battle on the 22nd day of Tishri 5,784 (7.10.2023). He was forty-seven years old. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Lod. He is survived by his two daughters, mother, and brother.
