Son of Shirley and Omer Solomon. Born on 28th day of Elul 5,762 (5.9.2002) in Moshav Sitriya. Brother of Yehonatan, Naama, Adi, Hillel, Avigail, Banya and Shira. In 2021, he enlisted in the Israeli Air Force pilot training course and later transferred to serve in the Duvdevan Unit. Sergeant First Class Ilay David Garfinkel fell in battle on 12th day of Adar II 5,784 (22.3.2024). He was twenty-one years old. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Rehovot. He is survived by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
