Son of Ruhama and Yaakov. Born on the 5th day of Sivan 5,739 (31.5.1979) in Jerusalem. Brother of David, Efrat, Eti, Ido and Elisaf. Yosef Chaim (Yosi) was married to Hadas and the couple had five children: Be’eri, Hillel, Tal, Shira and Neta. On October 7th, 2023, he enlisted in the reserves and served in the infantry. Sergeant Major (res.) Yosef Haim (Yossi) Hershkovitz fell in battle on the 26th day of Heshvan 5,784 (10.11.2023). He was forty-four years old. He was laid to rest at the National Military Cemetery on Mount Herzl. He is survived by his wife, five children, parents and siblings.
