Son of Colette and Jacob. Born on 19th day of Av 5,749 (20.8.1989) in the United States. Brother of Stephanie, Avraham and Yosef. Shmuel married Anna and the couple had three children: Idan, Gabriel, and Yael. In 2006, he decided to immigrate to Israel and enlist in the IDF. In 2008, he enlisted in the IDF as a lone soldier, and served in the Kfir Brigade. Sergeant Major (res.) Shmuel (Sammy) Harari fell in battle on 21st of Tishri 5,785 (23.10.2024). He was thirty-five years old. He was laid to rest at the National Military Cemetery on Mount Herzl. He is survived by his wife, three children, parents, and three siblings.
