Son of Dvora and Tommy. Born on the 5th day of Tamuz 5,754 (14.6.1994) in Giv’atayim. Brother of Keren, Eilon and Jonathan. Ido married Maayan. On November 20th, 2013, he enlisted in the IDF and served in the Nahal Brigade. Major Ido Israel Shani fell in battle on the 22nd day of Tishri 5,784 (7.10.2023). He was twenty-nine years old. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Bnei Zion Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, parents, two brothers and a sister.
