Son of Tagitu and Maharat. Born on the 25th day of Tamuz 5,756 (12.7.1996) in Ethiopia. Brother of Shai, Rivka, Adis and Hadar. He immigrated to Israel with his family in 2001. On October 7, 2023, he enlisted in the reserves and served in the infantry. Master Sergeant (res.) Benjamin Destow Neguse fell in battle on the 8th day of Kislev 5,785 (8.12.2024). He was twenty-eight years old. He was laid to rest at the National Military Cemetery on Mount Herzl. He is survived by his parents and four siblings.
