Son of Batya and Shai. Born on the 2nd day of Sivan 5,762 (12.5.2002) in Mitzpe Netofa. Brother of Nir, Amit, Yael, Neta and Nadav. On March 30th, 2021, he enlisted in the IDF and served in the Givati Brigade. Staff Sergeant Yair Hananya fell in battle on the 1st day of Heshvan 5,785 (2.11.2024). He was twenty-two years old. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Mitzpe Netofa cemetery. He is survived by his parents and five siblings.
