Son of Yaffa and Moshe. Born on the 12th day of Sivan 5,737 (28.5.1977) in Jerusalem. Brother of Nissim, Dror and Nir. Ilan married Michal and the couple had three daughters: Tom, Amit and Omer. On October 7th, 2023, he enlisted in the reserves and served in the infantry. Assistant Commissioner Ilan Peleg Yom Tov fell while serving during the war on the 23rd day of Adar 5,785 (22.3.2025). He was forty-seven years old. He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Modi’in. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, parents and three brothers.
